    The cover of my steering wheel (right above the Pontiac logo) is cracked and I am looking to replace it. If you have one to sell, or know of a website/business where I could purchase one at, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Not sure of the difference the years or makes, but I have a 2005 Grand Prix GXP

    the center part of the wheel?

    like this? that would be the air bag. the out side part should come off the air bag. dealer may have new. you'd have to check. or hope for a part out or junk yard find.

    Yup that's exactly what I'm taking about. So you are saying I can hopefully buy just the outside cover of the airbag?

    I would suggest buying a whole air bag, but be sure to specify which logo you want -the early one's said "GP" and the later ones have Pontiac logo like in the picture.
    By buying the whole air bag you simplify the swap. Get two small/medium size flat screw drivers and bend them at a 45* angle to make your own $2 air bag removal tool. Pop the air bag off, unplug it and install the new one.... 5 minute job.

    im not sure what a new cover would cost, but swapping the whole bag is the easy way to go about it. theres 4 little holes in the back of the wheel, with a small screw driver insert and twist, then pull on that corner, then pop the next clip on the same side. then do the same for the other side, dont let off the light pulling pressure or it will click and lock back on.

    all you doing is moving a spring loads lever out of the way, it locks the air bag on. once its free, slowly lift it off, the plug in the muddle (its yellow ) pulls right out, (after un locking its clip)

    un hook your battery before working on the air bag. you dont want it to blow in your face.
