    looks like his is a 97 to 03 is it s/c or n/a
    04 GT2: 180 t-stat, cold air intake, reptile tune, plog, hv3, gt1 cam, 90#springs, new push rods, new lifters, port polished heads, lim, uim and tb, 06 Impala brakes and steel brake lines. Cosmetic: black roof rails, under glow, Pontiac ground light, blue hud dic radio controls and cluster. To come custom hood.

    A good tranny could mean lots of things... Good used? Good rebuilt? Good for racing?
    lol... Just sayin... And yes, need to know what engine/tranny!

    I have a 99 and it a Gtp l67 engine and I need something to beat on that good so a fully built one or good stock rebuild that is good will work to

    I wouldn't waste my $$$ on anything but a TEP... The money you waste on something else and then have to rebuild or find another tranny would be best spent on good upgraded parts installed by someone who knows the tranny's. X2 if you plan to beat on it...

    If you need a trans, I'd suggest checking car-part.com and finding a decent prices lower mileage one. I've been finding $300ish with about 80-100K miles lately. My understanding is often they can be cheaper down by you.
    I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.

    I will be installing the back to basix trans from TEP this weekend. Not sure if you are going performance route or just a good build, but I will report my findings if you are interested.
