Hey folks, Im looking for one of the washers that goes between the lower mount bolt and the bottom section of the rear trailing arm.

The big one, the same diameter if not slightly larger than the bushing.

Please confirm with me before you start tearing into something, I would hate for someone to take the time to do this, and then me find one elsewhere.

Here is a picture of what Im looking for:

If someone has a little free time this weekend I would greatly appreciate it, I cant find one big enough at the local hardware stores, and since GM doesnt show this part on any diagrams ive found so far, Im guessing they probably wont be able to help me (but I will be finding out monday).

I will start looking locally myself Monday, but If someone can come up with one before then, please let me know and have a fair price in mind (it is a washer after all). Shipping would be to 65324 and should be less than 50 cents, just stick it in an envelope.

Needing one of these to get things back together, rust made my old one disappear!

dealer parts guy will have exploited over view of the rear suspension, you can look at the screen with him and point out what you need. im sure they have that in stock somewhere.

I will check it out, but normally they seem to use the exact same diagrams that GM Parts Direct does, which in this case does not show it, at least not for my 98 GP GT.

I did find one from Fastenal that seems to fit the bill though if all else fails:
    http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/details/38407

50mm is the biggest they have for an M16 bolt, and thats just shy of 2 inches which is right about the same diamter as the trailing arm bushing area shown in the pic. Theres supposedly a Fastenal in my town, so we shall see.

Well Scottydoggs was right, after a lot of digging, the guy came up with a much more detailed diagram than what Ive seen at GmPartsDirect and similar sites.

For future reference, the part number is 10268814...it fits an M16 bolt and is just under 2 inches in diameter.

$8.13 good sir! Thats ok, it goes well with the nearly 10 dollar bolt I ordered to go there as well.

It is slightly cheaper online, but only by a dollar or two.

The washer from Fastenal which is either the exact same thing, or similar was quoted at almost 10 shipped to me.

They know they have you over a barrel....
