Don't waste your time with a short stack... Total waste of $$ IMO. If you run a stock hood then you should not have any clearance issues with a full size...

My shortstack is already done and installed.. I'm running a GTX hood and don't want clearance problems or having to deal with modded fuel rails if I don't have to.. not looking for big power.. just want to get rid of that summer heat soak

The short stack becomes heat soaked very quickly. With a gtx hood you would have more than enough room for a full size. I run an SD hood, which has less clearance than your gtx and the clearance is just fine with my 2" IC. Basically, you might as well have run no IC at all... Just my .02
