Thread: 97 GTP driver or information center (DIC)

it has to be from a 97 gtp because of the compatibility

no it doesnt sorry for the late response.

BUT so ya know, I did install a DIC from a later model GTP that did have the traction control button and it plugged in and worked fine. (the traction control button was non functioning obviously) Reason why I did that was I bought a carbon fiber dash kit, and it didn't match the '97 DIC with no traction control button display, so I had to switch. I have removed my DIC since then, and installed 3 aftermarket gauges. Might install my old DIC where my ash tray used to be for the fun of it.

i just heard non 97 dic's arent compatible but if you got a 97 id be interested

I have two '97s. The one in my sig. is the nice one, and there is another one behind my garage I am robbing parts off cause in about 5 years or so, its going to be turned into a caged drag car, so many of the parts are not going to be needed. The DIC is still in that GTP IICR.

I know we chatted on here, but I never got your PM.

I'm working some serious hours at work sun up to sun down, by the time I get home, its dinner, shower, then bed. Can you hang on till this weekend? I know the DIC is a useful important piece of equipment and the car will not run with out it, but I will hurry to get that removed, and tested for you.
