Oh the joy of owning an older gen GP.

Like you said, try making your own first.
A bit cheaper on Wbody store.

It's a bit more expensive but the the 1st version warped very easily so of course instead of busting replacing that with the 2nd version. Wonderful Zzp offered both and increased the price. I <3 Wbody vendors.

Bondo could work but I would be more concerned about it holding up. Fiber kitty fiber and resin are a lot easier to work with IMO. But since your own base probably isn't a good idea.

Avoid getting it on your skin lol you'll hate It real quick.

Might just get a Zzp pillar myself when I get the car back together..mine doesn't want to stay put anymore and rather not put a screw through it.

I want to say I remember someone saying they ordered one from Wbody and it came boxed from Zzp so I imagine its probably beige but don't quote me on that. I rather be sure and go purchase it from Zzp and avoid the hassle of return shipping etc. or just shoot Wbody a email or call and verify.

Only reason I FB my own was because at the time there wasn't a version 2 available only the version 1 (had one) that warpped very easily and living FL didn't help. I would of gladly paid the $80 if it was available.

Nope Wbody store never sold the crappy version for the 04+ so if you buy from them it should be the newer version. I would go ahead and get from Zzp since your needing a beige colored one anyways. I need a black but have no problem painting it if needed.

I've heard that before but it could also be WBS just ordering crap from ZZP and shipping it out to the customer. Wouldn't be the first or last time vendors do that to customers.
