Thread: Looking for 97 GTP door bulb & socket (not reflector)

Hello,

I have the actual wiring, and original reflector but need bulb/socket that plugs into 97 grand prix GTP door reflector and hooks up to the two holed connection. Any luck anyone knows of substitute that will fit or has original good socket & bulb or source? I need both or a good suggestion that would allow it to work again, original socket busted with bulb. If it's a mod I'll have to do both sides.

Not sure if you're looking for new or used. I have come across plenty at the junkyard here and could snag one while I'm there for ya. Not sure where you're located and how shipping would work.

On a side note, the regular reflectors from later years actually have a spot for the plug and the bulb, but don't have the wiring part. The main difference is that they are solid red and no white center like your oem so it might look a bit odd. I have turned these into lights easily however, as you just solder the wires direct, or wire a connector, both pretty easy.
