you can see all the spots that touch on the blower here, no paint on the clip on the snout, the vac manifold tree and bbv both are shinny where they rub, and the point of the tb next to the vac manny

Sounds like you need some cradle spacers!
Well see how it goes if no one on here comes up with a good ic setup I'll probably just screw it and go the cam route or a ssic and a cam.

Idk lol I'd assume 3/16" or however thick they are really wouldn't make any difference

Ya I wouldn't give a crap either lol

Question though I'm just really trying to mod and don't really care how. I was thinking about getting a meth kit, but if I'm running e85 would the meth kit be a waste considering e85 basically does the same thing as meth?

no meth if you got e85. try some NOS out to put on top of the e85 lol

i just got a meth kit, should be here next week. cant wait to drop a pulley and jack up my timing. im stuck on 93 here.

e85 and a ic does work well together as well.

Ya I didnt think meth and e85 was a good idea. I'm thinking about just getting a ssic now if I can't find a fsic on here. I think I really need to do a cam though since I'm peaking at about 10lbs of boost in 50ยฐ weather on a 3.4 pulley. I feel like most people are running 8lbs on a 3.4

3.4 gets you to about 10 to 12. mine did.

now a ported lim with a ic and a 3.2 will drop you to 8 or 9 psi. bout what im at with the l36 bottom end.

I thought the ic would increase boost pressure since its a restriction? I also have an l36 bottom end.

with my mod list in my sig with no ic and the stock pulley i made 6 psi, jumped right to the fsic and a 3.2 only see 9 ish. i got a 2.8 and 3.0 to play with once the meth kit gets installed

the ported lim is what lowers the psi.

Well **** I'll go port my lim right meow if it'll bleed off 1-2lbs if boost lol. I feel like it probably has a lot to do with your head porting. I really wish i would have ported my heads before I topswapped, I was just a noob back in those days though and had no idea how to. Its crazy how much I've learned to do in the past year thanks to this car.

ive heard normal top swaps w/ stock pulleys make 7-8 psi, so the rockers and heads do help some for sure.

stock pulley with headers and the rockers on my l67 left me at 5 psi. so im guessing the high compression is adding a psi or two over the l67.

I do concur with you Scotty! This thread can be closed as well I mad the commitment to go the cam route. By the way does anyone know who grinds intenses camshaft. There a guy selling a brand new one But the specs on the cam paper he showed me were slightly off so I'm trying to figure out how I can tell for sure it's an s1x

you still wont get much past a 3.4 with just a cam, ic and cams are perfect together. or that corn...

theres a guy here with a cam, ported heads, fsic, 80 injectors with corn, and a 75 shot of NOS. gen 5 and a 2.6 pulley and lots o boost lol

hes still on the old stock tranny and takes it to 120 at min on his way to and from work daily he tells me lol

he had the ic before the corn swap went down, he kept it on there and it seems to help still, hes at 22ยบ wot timing too. not a hint of kr.
