Wanna know the best way to do this?
go to advance auto website. Use discount codes up
to 30% off. You can get both calipers and brackets new for ridiculously chesp
then order pads and rotors for a 2002 camaro
decide you want to drill tap or use sleeves

Unfortunately that does not seem to be cheaper as they are 57$ each caliper with a 50$ core charge each caliper plus shipping. For that price I'd just buy zzp

$80 for new caliper with brackets

I don't have an advance auto in Arizona so I'm pretty sure I have to pay for shipping but I also don't have a core to return I have stock brakes not fbody brakes

I did Fbody's over the summer I bought oem acdelco calipers from rockauto for like $130 shipped for the pair with the core charge. I used there 5% off coupon because why not. Then I bought those R1 concept rotors and pads off ebay they are really nice and heavy duty the ones Scotty recommended.

just listening to scott talk about those brake rotors and the F body calipers makes me wish I had got them. I don't remember what rotors I got for my F body setup, they work fine, but they don't seem to stop as fast as scott says his stop.

Here ya go: all you would need are the calipers.

have you looked at the F body brake conversion "how-to?" it tells you how to modify the brakes without buying that crap from zzp

The link is in the big bad brake thread. I just had mine drilled and tapped at my local machine shop for like 20 bucks. You do need the longer ss brake lines to.

Yeah you probably can I just didn't want to bend the brackets and mess with them. I'd imagine they are pretty tight when the wheel is all the way turned. Plus my rubber lines weren't the greatest anyways I figured I'm replacing everything anyways minus well change them to and not have problems later on. Zzp was selling just the longer front ss lines on ebay so you didn't have to buy the set of them.

O well I'll look on eBay I just don't want to spend 130$ after shipping for some lines. I mean they don't really help anything do they?

i got ss lines, they help firm the pedal up even more, the ss lines will never expand like a rubber hose can.

ss lines and the new e lines the day installed, they still got no rust on them.

and i still bent the line tab as per most write ups on the f body swap.

Dang 66$ this break swap keeps adding up haha.
People that have them how do you like them? Obviously I know how Scotty feels but how much of a difference does it actually make?

Yeah it wasn't cheap if you went with everything new but it's a night and day difference. I actually have brakes now they should have came with something similar to these from the factory.
