    looking to slow down a T-Bird SC a bit for a young driver anyone have one there willing to get rid of cheep im the ST. Louis area

    an easier way to do it would be to adjust the boost bypass valve stop so the supercharger can't make full boost. you might be able to drop about 2 lbs of boost that way.

    edit for another idea: ZZP makes an mps hub and pulley and you can get a bigger than stock pulley. you would just need to pull the stock pulley off and use a press to install the hub, then switching pulleys would be easy. you might need a longer supercharger belt though. the mps hub and pulley kit would be 100 and then you would just need to rent the hub removal/replacement tool.

    that and a stock pulley from swiggles minus some timing i could turn it into a real pooch.

    id leave the timing. if its anything like a gm set up its got kr stock. little less boost could make it feel better in the end.

    if you can tune it, just cut timing, that will slow it down for sure. and im sure you could set the speed limiter to the speed limit if you need to teach the kid a lesson lol
