I used the mini gating gun shroud, so in order to do the halo inside you have to completely trim out the "screw in posts" which hold the shroud in place the the projector with 4 screws. I did that and going to have to hold it on with jb weld/epoxy now. I believe it was an 80mm on the inside and a 70mm on the front of them. Probably easier with a larger shroud , and might change it up sometime because that's how I am

Completely understandable. But thanks! I'll probably just do an led strip on the inside of a halo ring because I don't wanna shave it all.

So here is how they looked aimed, but still have to cut the hole behind the headlights so they fit. Will finish aiming here soon and added a little extra touch to his when I finish them up. First is about 25 feet away, next was about 50 feet. I am having a nice purple cutoff on the right side, and may be how the bulb is seated. Nonetheless better than pnp hids!

Not sure if it's the angle of your car, but your cutoffs look too close together. You can try and fiddle with the bulb to see if that purple color goes away. Looks good otherwise. Nice job!

    My thoughts exactly.
That was my mistake. Doubting myself and kicking the angle in to be a courteous driver. Didn't turn out too bad but will never win 'hotspot of the month'

Yes they do look close, but I was freezing my ass off and the jb weld wouldn't stick good when it was that cold. I will definitely have some adjusting to do though on that right headlight.

Ok question, does the iron man shrouds get the look from an individual halo ring placed behind it or does it use the light from the projectors Themselves? Also where can find some? Finally starting this retrofit and I've loved what you done so far.

Iron man shrouds? What you talking bout Willis?

I'm guessing your talking the about the Gatling gun shroud.. It's a individual ring behind the shroud..

Lol I thought that was the name of the shrouds because of the iron man look effect it gives off.

Yes, it is from an individual halo behind the shroud. If you are using a mini gating gun you have to take out the screw posts and then an 80mm will fit in behind it. Sorry nothing has gotten done because I want to re-aim them so they are perfect and finishing up school!

Does the mini gatling have the holes spacing in the shrouds to produce that effect?

    Those look great BTW

Correct! That is the mini gating gun shroud that I trimmed the posts out of. Here is what the back looks like after you do that and with the halo in there. You can see the cut marks from using the dremel to get rid of them

Well order came in for me! They had a random 15% off anything and everything. Decided to pull the trigger on some rx afs projectors with shrouds. They are ginormous but should give some pretty good output when they are going to be used

All complete for Brandon's lights. Hoping to put them on tonight when he gets home and get some output pics sometime soon. Was hoping to get a start on other set, but still things haven't fallen in place yet!

Here is the only pics I could get since my camera forced close since my battery was about to die. One has rotation slightly off, but anything will do better than the pnp hid's!
