I don't think the red and black with a silver car is too bad. I originally went with all silver but i kinda like it.

Yea black with silver would have looked better imo but it looks fine as long as your don't throw anymore red in there.

It all started with me painting the valve covers gloss black with red trim and i was originally going to throw on my chrome spray painted supercharger and i thought that the fuel rail would add more black than it did and my buddy said either change the valve cover to black and silver or do the color theme i did with red and black. reason is because i have black with red outline for pontiac on rear bumper, pontiac door sill inlays in red and gtp badge is black with supercharged red . I figured it wasnt a bad idea. Here are some pics of how it WAS going to be.

And here is how it sits now, bumper isnt on yet, still gotta get heat exchanger on. Badges will be changed to red and black, and i have a red optima battery, I have BLACK spark plug wires too All and all, im kinda happy i went with red and black, its different. maybe silver instead of red would of been better but mehhh, who knows at this point...

The hood BARELY shuts, my buddy says it looks awesome and huge in there and we get a grin when trying to close the hood for first time. Also i have the clear hoses i could hook up to the intercooler as well but i think that would throw the color off so we decided to go with the black. Thanks for looking and for your input

I'm thinking at the very least, i am going to paint the rotor pack part that goes in between the snout and supercharger itself back to black. that might break up the color just enough

So here is what sucks. I got it all back together and the boost bypass valve is causing the hood not to shut all the way. I have shorter dogbones on AND mount spacers. So i guess i will put the regular dog bones back on to change the angle a little bit until i figure out what else can be done for hood clearance. Btw im lowered on ssc springs (1.8)

Ok, i am not sure what they will do since i already have mount spacers for the trans and motor mounts to lift the engine even higher for geometry and then shorter dogbones, Where do these go? The problem is the gtx hood having the welds for the ram air , the boost bypass hits it. I took your word for it though and just ordered cradle spacers. There just is no clear definition what they really do but i ordered them.

They go in between the cradle(subframe) and the body. Lowering the whole subframe, thus lowering the engine trans etc. Gonna be cutting it close on the studs being long enough on your motor mounts with cradle spacers AND mount spacers. Should be ok though I think...
