Are you just trying to find a cheap solution to modifying the hood? Why not save the extra coin for a real hood and be done?

are those the lund hood scoops pictured above? they probably look half assed because no one took the time to install them and finish the job. or am I wrong? I dont see why a custom hood scoop is forbidden to use instead of a high dollar aftermarket hood. there really are only 3 or 4 variations of hoods that people use, but there are hundreds of possibilities for a custom scoop. I am planning on putting a scoop on mine because the intercooler install raised up the supercharger so cutting a hole in the hood is the easiest fix.

I agree with John. J GTP get some short strand fiberglass body filler and some Evercoat Lightweight filler and mold them to your hood, they'll look great. I'm in the process of putting a set on my 2000 SE.
