So my car went through a few transformations in the last few weeks. First i got a GTX hood, SLP gen 1 spoiler, SD air dam and GPO's all painted. I then had it all installed. But not the GPO's yet. I actually didn't mind the way it looked without them after the facelift of the hood and lip but once i put the GPO's on, I was like DAMNNN!!!! So here are a few pictures of a few looks i had to its current state, which still isnt finished. I still have a few more ideas that ill be doing in 2 weeks with more paint.

    First day back home

    Front view without plate

    Side view

Tried the GTP front badge on grill look. It wasn't too bad

One more from far away, I agree it does look clean, but still feels like it doesnt belong so i ditched that idea. (after all i had gpos that i had professionally painted )

    Sooo shiny and reflective

And now for the finished GPO product

    Entered a car show

Another one close up ( i love how you can see the SLP wing too)

Here is one with my stock lights on

One last one to break up the color

So what do you all think? Did the GPO's help? Ill accept positive and negative criticism

If you love the way it looks, please feel free to let me know

Looks fvcking awesome! Glad the parts I had just stuffed in a closet are painted and on!

I agree on the mesh, those gpos do need something in them but I'd try rattle the mesh black, that way from a distance they would dissappear but up close it wont look like somethings missing.

Thats hood spoiler and lip look perfect, kudos to the painter too!

My next idea is to paint the grill on the hood the same color as mesh and paint the outside of the snout only black ( the part where the grill is, only the outside edges black, just like the gpos. Still havent decided yet. The mesh is throwing it all off, but like an idiot i cut off the tabs that allow me to hold the old grills ever again. So now its GPO's forever lol I dont think black mesh would look good because you still have the problem of the outside of where the gpo sits is black, and mesh is silver. where the hood is, its outside is silver and inside is black. I might think about it for a few weeks. I know machinegunsquid did it , but i also have vents on my hood that are colored black, Might be a good idea though.

Couldn't you just throw some mesh in the lower air dam to match the GPO's? Maybe it would tie it together better.

Hood already has grills if you look super extra close. They're black right now.

My next idea is to paint the grill on the hood the same color as mesh and paint the outside of the snout only black ( the part where the grill is, only the outside edges black, just like the gpos
I think you could pull that off if you have the mesh in the airdam as well. If you wanted to try it out you could always (dare I suggest) plastidip the area on the hood around the grills black and then change the existing grill on the hood to the silver just to see what it would look like. If it looks like sh*t, then peel of the dip and change the hood grills back to black.

Okay let me reword that, hood needs grills that match the gpos and it needs grills in the lower part of the bumper, just having the metal grills in the top makes it look weird.
Like this car has grills in the lower upper and the hood and they all match, if Hardon did that it would look a lot better.

Ok, i think all it needs is the pontiac part filled in with black, and lower grills, after that it should look great.

No, if i wanted black mesh, i would have just plasti dipped black to make my own gpos and made it all black. I think it looks fine the way it is. I'll choose to be different

I don't like them because now I feel like I need to go spend a bunch of money on appearance mods. Lol. That's one heck of a sweet ride!

looks great! if I get another gp down the line I'd like it to be silver.

I agree with getting mesh for the lower part of the bumper to match, its the reason I went out and bought grilles for my car

Thank you! Yes silver is super sexy and classy I am still thinking about getting the lower grill to match but i think i am going to order a inlay for the fill plate. Gloss black, or just black? Also what color would you do the arrowhead? How about light silver on inside and black on outside border???

    - SPO's should be silver
    - mesh has to go
    - not a fan of the gloss black; satin or flat black would be my choice.

Oh, and I hate silver cars. But after getting one, the color does grow on you.
