I took that pic at work. My co-workers didn't give me permission to post their cars on the net. I see the plate thing the same as people used to use their real names on the net but now they don't.

I like the Dark Red and the Black ones. I would smoke the Black tailights though!
Agreed if it's not done right.. find a body shop or man that knows how to tint them correct and you don't have to worry about light output being effect at all or very little.

Same goes with my brake light and reverse light just as bright as if they weren't tinted.
I would never put anyone or myself in danger just to achieve a certain look
They were actually the chrome ones that I got for a steal and obviously couldn't stand chrome so tinted it was
Well, it seems that they are the New Style Spyder LED Tail Lights as I do not see the "older style", such as the ones you have on their website.
The Scion kids seem to love them. Just wonder how the "turn signal" function would look. Ive been internet-hunting and cant seem to find any GPs with them. Makes it hard to be the first one buying a product.
I'm buying these.

those are sexy. Does Spyder manufacture them as well? I seem to have found a video of an E46 with the same "style" light bar as the GP ones. In this video, the "Light Bar" seems to be on with the parking lights and the LED in the middle functions with the brake pedal. I still have no idea what the turn signal function would look like. If it isnt the Light Bar, thats a deal breaker.
Edit: I believe this video shows how they would function with the turn signals. Not Impressed. So from what I can tell, If you drive at night, you have big stupid glowing light bars(Which should be on if you hit the brakes, not vice-versa), and when you hit the brakes, you have a tiny LED cluster indicating such. Its almost un-safe. I wonder if you can switch the function with alittle wire swapping action.
Those are completely custom, some guy makes them in his garage.
