    My parents recently bought an late '04 with front-end damage and both headlights need replacing - we were curious how bright halo/HID lights or just HID lights are in comparison to halogen lights, and which ones are better to buy.

    Most people on here are going to say avoid those headlights and buy some stock replacements of Rockout or ebay. The output with those is terrible even with HID's installed.

    Yup, basically what Lishap said, they are worthless. You either have two choices stay stock or go retrofit

    WORTHLESS!!!! the output on those suck donkey balls!! save up some money and buy some from projector retrofits from Classy Pontiac... you will not be disappointed my friend!
    04 Top-swapped, 3.2 pulley, ZZP 1.9 rockers w/ #90 springs,Mild P&P heads, Pacesetter Headers, Sseilmnop 2" Phenolic Intercooler with stage 3 HE, ZZP billet fuel rails, 42.5lb injectors, 3" full exhaust, all poly mounts,other supporting mods.
    oh and weight addition mods: CTS-V brake upgrade, 14" GT500 rotors

    Terrible terrible headlights they look gawdy as hell and output is terrible save yourself the money and spend $100 and get stock replacements
