drivers side panel on the side of the dash, open it, inside you will see what looks like a heat sink for an amp, with a plug. reach inside and unplug it.

Yeah just pull the drl fuse. I belive it is a 10 amp red fuse. It should be located on the pass side near the glove compartment.

if you want to disable DRLS without disabling auto night lights (pulling drl fuse will disable both) take the DRL box they are talking about down off its mount do this by pushing it up..now *carefully* open up the box and look at the circuit board hold it so the wire harnesses coming out of it face up you will see 3 coil (relays) inside 2 on the top and one on the bottom right....the bottom right is the one you want now go find a piece of packaging plastic or something really thin that is non conductive place it between the contacts on the bottom right relay....this will disable drls while still letting auto night lights function...if your confused while your holding the drl box with it open put the keys in the ignition on position and you will see the relay click and make contact that should easily show you where i mean to put the non conductive block on the relay....nice thing is no cutting if you dont like it and change your mind just remove the block and its all back to normal....you may have to repair that drl blue wire you cut tho im not 100% on that tho...
