I came across this vinyl kit for our stock tail lights the other day...has anyone ever tried it before? I actually really dig the sample pictures...might be my favorite tail light option. thought it was odd that I've never seen someone on here with it or even seen it mentioned as far as I know

Same thing any tint shop locally can do for you.. It's nothing new.. It's been around for ages. Just a different option from mixing paint to tint them or using that terrible vht crap.

its quite different looking from just tint because it's like a cut mask with a pattern, like lines across the lens. dunno how closely you looked but the smaller pic up top has the lights on and you can more clearly see its not just straight up darker if you click it

I'm sure you could do something similar with tint/paint or whatever but it would be harder to make it look even

Don't they sell those on ebay for pretty much every car?

I want someone to buy the green set for their black car.

i dunno, just thought it looked nice. seems like 99% of tinted stockers I see are just straight tinted, no patterns or anything

That's all a matter of how much effort you want to put into them or how much you want to pay someone obviously things like designs are going to need to be taped out..

I think what you are seeing are the stock lines in the tails.

i don't, the lines look at least twice the size of the lines on stockers, at least the ones on my car lol

looks to me like they fill every other line that would normally be clear
