So, I installed the ep28 flasher to try to get rid of the hyperflash and I still have it. I only put some bright leds in my tails for my brake and turn signals and none up front. I still have the hyperflash like I said. Am I doing something wrong here?

What year is your GP? It only works on certain years, I believe the 97-03's but I could be wrong. I've replaced every filament bulb on my 05 with LED's, and for the hyper flash on the front and rear turn signals I just wired a 6 ohm 50W resistor in line with each harness. One side to the ground wire, one to the signal wire. I got mine here: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/a...stor-kit-18974

You may be able to get them cheaper elsewhere, but I got all my exterior bulbs from there anyways so it was the easiest option. I just put a little liquid electrical tape on the portion of wire that I connected each side to in order to make sure it was still weathertight.

The resistors are the only option for 04-08 GP's, but I personally use them on all the "installs" I do, they always work on W-body vehicles.
For thine is the Cam, The Piston, and The Rod, Forever and ever (or until they break). Amen.

My car is a 2000. I don't know if it matters but the leds are can bus. Ended up putting the regular 3157 back in because they seem brighter than the leds actually, but I put them in my reverse lights because when in there all the leds will light up. I have looked at diode dynamics and want to get a set of bulbs for my tails. Just disappointed because everyone has had good luck with the ep28 and it didn't work for me. It might just be easier to just keep it as a spare relay I guess and use resistors.

The EP28 doesn't care about load, so it won't allow hyperflash. I don't have any other idea's for you, but in your other thread you mentioned that the dash signal and shifter lights were alternating or something like that, and that isn't right. I suspect you have an electrical gremlin.

That's what I was thinking until I installed the regular 3157 back in there and the problem was resolved.

Oh man. Yeah I got the Napa ep28. So that's probably the wrong one then.
