Another HID thread... High beam indicator always on

I've done some searching on here and haven't really found a clear answer for my issue.
I thought a set of HID headlights (pre wired and in housing and all) from a friend and he told me that they were plug and play. For the most part they are, but for some reason the now my High Beams indicator is always on and my fog light's don't work. The headlights came out of a 1998 GTp (I have a 2002 GTP) and it did the same thing in his car (except his fog lights worked sometimes, and sometimes they didn't.

Is something just not wired correctly or is there something else I have to do?

CONFIGURABLE CONNECTORS
When installing HIDs in a dual-filament setup, you must use the vehicle's wiring, which is 3 wires: one ground, one high-beam power, and one low-beam power. Since standard bulbs do not require a particular configuration or polarity, auto manufacturers do not always use a uniform configuration. When you plug the kit in, the high beam may come on with your low beam, and vice versa. edit: Either that is your problem or you need to check your hi-lo switch for the headlights.
