let me know on the lip. I'd be interested for around $150 shipped if this se i've been looking at falls through
Ok.. i will prob go get a shipping quote to send to like Cali just to see how much it will be that far.. then come up with a general price once i put in up for sale.. i will also have and SPO spoiler for sale as well
Those inferno spoilers remind me of the 2008 G6 GXP spoilers.
Like you want to paint some fangs on it.
Just say no to the inferno rice wing...but there is no comparison to the unique Inferno lip. You won't see a senior citizen with one of those, but the stock SE lip you may...
^doubtful
So just got a quote today to get this thing painted... about 417 for everything.. not bad.. some people wanted like 700 fuq that lol
That for top, bottom, wetsanded n all that? I got quoted around 300 on the phone but it's always different when you go into the place.
That's just one person though. After all it is a stock option but how many are modded beyond that point probably very few.
Ya thats for prep, paint ( top and bottom), clear/wetsand/buff, and fit/install.. the other guys quotes were for all that plus blending the fenders.. but I talked to this guy and he said BC its the metallic silver and they use factory paint, that blending wasn't necessary and it will match up perfectly.. looked like he did good work too, also for him to not try and get more money out of me for the blending leads me to think he's not bs-ing me
Or hidden charges. Some shop's add extras they don't add to the estimate. Sometimes they up the labor time. Not saying they do this or will but watch out for that.

Ya the one guy that said 700 I was like WHAT! That's ridiculous.. its not that hard to paint a damn hood lol.. i would do it myself if I had all the spray equipment
after painting my bumper cover, hell id rattle can that hood with out a second thought. i used duplicolor. came out pretty good. cost about 50 bucks.
^ difference is this is a $800 hood
more like 1200 with paint. id take a chance. F it lol
Ya i dont think i would rattle can that much space.. light and heavy spots would def be a problem, might as well do it right since i paid so much for it lol
truth is i was thinking the same, this is gonna be sh it lol.
but after watching a few vids i went for it, bumper is not small. the duplicolor cans have a fan tip, so you do a steady even pass at the same distance from the part. each pass gets a 50% over lap. light coats are key, they build up and never run or drip. same goes for the clear coat. wet sand it and buff it to a shine.
used to look like this.

after filling the dents and scrapes primed and painted and cleared. still need to be wet sanded and buffed , it got to cold out to do more. but its the best looking paint on the whole car pretty much lol
