I just put on front and rear inlay "Pontiac" decals, bought from Reflective Concepts. They were a good company to work with and the decals were not hard to apply if you follow the directions with q-tips etc.
I may post some pictures eventually, but overall I'd say it doesn't make much of a difference. It looks okay, and my big reason was to increase visibility even if only a little bit. I got the reflective silver ones and haven't had them out at night yet, still too freakin cold outside. Along with putting LED's in the side markers, I figure any little tweak that makes me more visible at night won't hurt.
My '08 is the dark gray metallic color. I was hoping for a light silver on dark silver look, but the decals look pure white against the dark finish. Funny because when they came on the paper backing they looked as silver as anything. I first ordered the regular silver color, but that was the same as the body color! RC let me exchange no hassle. Overall I guess it's worth the 20 bucks or so if you buy thru Amazon. Also Amazon let me use my credit points so the price was less.
