I have read all of BackInBlack's articles on the earlier models, but I have yet to see any reference to doing the same things on an 04+.

Specifically, my 07 S/C GT has DRLs that operate the low beams at reduced power. I have seen other 04+ vehicles that have the orange turn signals on as their DRLs.

I would like the DRLs to still work, but I would like them to be on the high beams (at reduced power) and not the low beams. This will allow me to install HIDs on the low beams.

If someone can just point me in the direction, I'll take it from there. If this has been discussed previously, I apologize. I have spent about 3 hours reading this forum before and after registering and have learned an amazing amount of info. But my searches for this have been fruitless.

    Thanks,

    Scott

Sorry but I'm lost, what are DRL's? If you can tell me that I can probably help you.

Oh I see what your trying to do now. Hm if you have the separated fog lights and turn signals you can hook up the wiring from an 04' (possibly 05'?) so that the lower ones will be the daytime running lights, your idea with the High Beams is too complicated if you ask me.

OK, so if I wanted to do the fog's, where would I start? I saw BNB's diode and disconnect trick for the pre-04's, is there a similar procedure for the 04+ cars?
