I got some light dents on my hood. The body shop said it would be better to replace it with the time that would go into it to smooth it all out. I was thinkg about getting the inferno hood instead of the stock one. Just wondering about the fitment of these hoods, and the durability. I was going to go with the fiberglass. Any worry about rock chips or anything? thanks for the input. It would be going on an 07 GXP FYI.

The fit is fine. Don't pay gm prices though. Wait for one to hit the for sale section

It's not a GM product. PFYC is the only place that sells it. Good luck waiting for one to pop up your better off buying new if you can afford it. Oh and you'll use one hood strut instead of the 2 that factory uses. Fitment is fine.

Well it's going on my insurance so I just have to pay the difference between the factory hood and the inferno hood. Paint and everything included. Just want to make sure it's not a POS before I decide to go with it. There aren't any more options for these years right?

Unless you get either the SLP hood or SE hood. SLP you won't find (very rare).
