after browsing on here when I first signed up, I always read the threads about polished stock tips... My, I cannot believe the difference in appearance with them polished... I also did some more Plasti Dipping on the lower rear bumper, and lower front bumper, and the stock grilles... Front lower bumper needs to grow on me as I don't like it as much as I thought I would... Then I prepped her for the up and coming winter, and gave her a good was and wax... I love that this damn near 13 year old car, looks almost as good as it did brand new... stock paint is still holding strong and sheens like no other when polished up... onto the pix...

    side by side comparison

    reflection shots...

    Plasti Dip projects...

and you saw some of the polished tipped ones...

overall I'm pleased... and If I don't like it, I'll just peel it off lol...

peel the plasti-dip off, clean it up, and actually paint it.

    sincerely,
plasti-dip looks terrible after a month out in the world

As long as the lamination is fine, i say keep stock tails the way they are. The red matches the car

I'll think about painting it.. my brother is an auto body collision tech, so I'll get it done for free anyway lol... this was just a check to see how things look... I've had the door moldings and "grand prix gt" bages dipped for over 6 months now and they're as black as the day I sprayed it... but this is temporary. ..

And no tinted tails for me... I was thinking about the red led tails off of fleabay.. but I don't know if I want to spend that kind of money when my stockers are just fine.. meaning no lamination peel or condensation like I see on just about every other gp out there.

Looks good. Nice job getting it clean. From a couple of those pics it looks like the tails are delaminating. You would like the LED tails. I would recommend them. One thing you should consider is debadging it for an even cleaner look.

Correct.. they were delaminating... but I cleaned um up, let um dry out because they condensated, and I sealed them with clear silicon and all has been fine in the 2 years I've had her... but I do like the look of the all red led tails.. not the clear chrome euro crap lol..

Car looks really good, nice paint correction!

If you decide to tint your tails dark, I'd suggest putting some brighter bulbs in. But please don't go with the clear / chrome euro style ones lol
