Well recently I sold my silver 04 GT and I just bought a silver 01 GTP special edition 2dr. My shift knob is kinda worn and I was looking to swap one from another GM car. I really like the Impala and malibu shift knob but will they fit. I tried doing a search but iI just couldncouldn't get much info on it. Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

Well I remember the older gm fwd cars had interchangeable knobs, I had an 87 Monte carlo knob on my 95 z26, but Ive seen on the newer cars that theres this bottom piece on the knob that actually goes into the shifter and the impala one looks alittle different. The malibu one looks very similar on the bottom but it looks like the clip goes in a higher spot.

The Mario knob would only work on a standard shifter though, wouldn't it?
