So guys it's night time and I just got home for the week and just wanted to let you know how my fascias turned out...will have pictures up in the morning!! Iowa has been pretty cold and had some rain but I washed her yesterday, hope she's still clean when I wake up!!
I sanded with 1000 grit really good in every nook and cranny. Then primed it. Hung it by fishing line from roof of garage. put 6 coats of Krylon FUSION which worked really really well. after that I put on clear coat, sanded it, clear coat, sanded it, clear coat three times and it looks PRO. let it dry really good before I had to snap it back in (can leave TERRIBLE finger prints so if you do it this way make sure it has dried a good hour.) I also painted the reverse lights just leaving a small slit of opening for the light. On top of that I even painted the pontiac symbol in the same fashion excluding the chrome edging and star. Looks beautiful.. I know most of you HATE rattle can but just wait until you see the pictures, it's amazing. Check back at about 11am...LATER GUYS
