    Hey guys,
Envying you leather grand prix's at the moment! My 2000 Gt has cloth, and I was thinking about installing some used leather, worth it? If I leave the door panels cloth, will it look terrible? HONESTLY!

Worth it? In my opinion yeah, but I can't say whether or not it will be worth it for you or not.

my car was formerly cloth, the guy who owned it before me converted it. i love the leather and mine looks better than most since it doesnt have those stupid vertical stripes on the door panels.

Okay, so say I'm looking at like 600 bucks for a used set, any idea how much it would cost at an upholstery shop?

Way off, you can get a nice set for $200-400 TOPS, anything more than $300 is a rip off if you ask me. I was appraised $1,100 to have a set of seats done in leather with suede inserts (with my own materials). If you want my opinion find some nice used original leather seats.

Check on ebay. Seen some on there quite a few times. If you want some sporty loking fron buckets, try and find the ones from a 04+ I believe. There's a post on here somewhere with a pic of them. I'll see if I can find it when I get home from work and post the link.

I used to swear I would never own a vehicle with leather seats. When I first looked at the GTP this was sort of a turn off for me, but there were no other GTP's around so I decided to give it a try.

Now, I am of the opinion having owned a car with leather seats, that I will never own another car without leather seats, particularly heated leather seats.

Those 04 seats look good in that white car. I want to do that conversion sometime soon. Wonder how much he paid for them?

worth it for sure man!!! i am currently in the process of converting from cloth to leather. I was gonna go with regular seats but after seeing lowlyfrgtp and a few others i am gonna go with an 04+ swap. Gotta wait a bit but my buddy has an 04 gp and i just love the seats. Way better! But its your car. Thats my 2 cents!!!

well if the junkyards charged too much for things, no one would go to them, they wouldn't have a sufficient business
