The whole thread if anyone is interested, pics of it torn down, etc:

    ClubGP Message Forum troubleshooting

As it went in, stripped down.

    and now:

the rails in the pic are just set there to see how they will look, not taped on, so they look a bit funny right now.

    and a little finishing touch:

looks great I love the black on white look. Have you considered doing the rails black instead of white? It's hard to tell they're even there. Any time to change the pic in your sig

as for the roof rails, i looked at some pics of them in black, and some in body color, and liked the body color better. i went for the subtle look.

hood pins are a must IMO. ive had a hood come up on me at over 100 mph, not doing that again. plus, the fiberglass hood isnt the most secure in how that latch loop is in there. ive had that thing shake something fierce at speed. so for me its a safety thing. i didnt like the idea of drilling into that hood, but it was that or i was going to have a bad day one day.

So I ventured through the build thread. Looks 10000x better than the sig on the other board with the funky bodykit.

I did noticed, there was no mention of what's under the hood besides the "14 sec" comments in relation to F&F stuff

    So what's under the hood???

L32 with 50K on it now, had 47 at install (test drive car that got totaled, snagged motor)
new crate NON rebuilt trans went in with motor
thrasher shift kit (anyone around that still remembers the old thrasher performance? before zzp and intense were big, it was thrasher)
    1.8slp rr's
5 angle valve grind on intake valves
    65 siemens injectors
bar/plate custom made 1.9 inch thick IC, with matched LIM
    2.7 pulley
    WBS VS3 ported blower
    WBS belt wrap
    tog headers
    catless DP
    DIY intake
    2000+ northstar TB
    85mm 5 wire maf
IAT in LIM, moved to under snout for more accurate IAT readings after IC
    arp studs
    caspers FP rewire
    255lph fuel pump
custom made fuel rails, ss line, etc

a full built trans, with all the forged this and forged that, and hardened, blah blah, with a TEP no expense spared valvebody, yank converter, etc sitting off to the side for when my current one gives up.

bunch of suspension stuff, brake upgrades, electronics inside,

need to put in my wideband, GMPP trailing arms, and a few other "ill get around to it someday" mods.

anyway, its what i remember off the top of my head, some of it irrelevant, but anyway....

Ooooo you should snap a picture if the motor is as pretty as the rest of the car.

a quick pic i was able to find from a couple years ago. before the belt wrap and the smaller pulley. blower was disassembled, powdercoated, and then i replaced every single bearing and seal, fully rebuilt.

the strut braces to the front core support are now equal length. not that "one is longer than the other" BS anymore. one dogbone and mount has been completely removed (drivers side) and i will be completing my lower front mount soon. so it will have NO upper dogbone mounts anymore, at all. all cradle mounted motor and trans. stiffer, lighter, less vibration.

i get some updated pics soon. car will be going in for a full detail, paint sealer, etc. engine bay is fuggin filthy right now, sanding dust, body shop dust everywhere.

i need to get the tune dialed in, thats an ever continuing process

the gmpp rear sway, poly busings all around are probably next. i have the front, just no poly up there. gmpp trailing arms in garage, just need to install them, along with wideband, f-body front calipers, and some grand am gt rear calipers (doing a white G2 paint kit on them, and i like the grand am rears for the aluminum weight savings)

grand am hand e brake once one shows up at the pick n pull.

04+ seats, its time.... another "ill wait till i get a screamin deal" thing

finish some exhaust stuff, 3 inch to the y, right now the catback is all stock, and i have a 3 inch DP butted to the stock catback. so just need to do some 3 inch pipe and a couple bends

    the custom motor mount setup

fix the damn ac, lol, i have all the new parts here, new compressor, new accumulator, and orifice, just need to get it installed.

misc bs here and there, it never ends......
