Ive got some ugly spots on my gt that bother me lol I was planning on plasti dipping the car matte red but I like having a nice shine. Im wondering if you guys think I can properly fix these spots with duplicolor perfect match or not, thanks

That first picture looks like a scrape from another car. Is that white paint, or the primer under the paint? If it's just paint form another car, it will buff of.

The gas door rust came form the other side of the metal, so it's probably too far gone to touch anything up there.

The spot under the window looks like peeling clear coat, right? Our Impala's hood has this over the entire thing. And it's white. Not sure how you'd fix that, maybe re clear-coating but it has to be done poperly.

The scratch is cause i backed into a wall lol but I figured for atleast a temporary decent job i could bondo the area by the gas and repaint that area, and for the window area couldnt i just sand it and then re paint that area as well? Im not looking for a perfect job, just something that looks better than this

Okay so what is the white stuff? paint form the wall you backed into, or the primer underneath? if it's the primer, it needs paint.

Well on the gas door, you'd be bondo'ing to rust, and that just doesn't work. If you removed all the rust you'd have a big hole.

The window area is hard to see in the pictures if the paint is actually faded or if the clear coat is just coming off. I'm sure you could do something to make it look better.

I understand the bondo part but its not like a hole underneath its just that surface thats cracked, i figured i could grind it down good, bondo, sand, and paint, and the other spot is just the clear coat fading, the easiest option i have is to just fix those spots and plasti dip the whole car matte red which was my first choice, but i dunno i like having a gloss and dont think the glossifier you can get would be that great

Yeah you can give the bondo a shot. Usually they rust all the way through, but the picture isn't the best. Looking closer I can see what you mean. I would try to re-clear coat that area rather than changing the whole look.

Well you posted pics of it up close, so... lol. I saw a crack in the paint on my gp under the gas door, I chipped the paint off and luckily there was only surface rust there.
