I apologize in advance if this has already been figured out but I personally could not find any writeups permanently disabling the Auto Headlights and the lock/unlock flashing with the headlights. I'm waiting for it to get dark to be 100% sure i've covered all bases to don't jump down my throat yet lol. here's what i did, alldata is a great tool to have access to lol:

Pulled DRL fuse which makes the DRL module click like crazy.
Pulled the smaller harness from the DRL module which stops the clicking.
Headlight switch works like it should, turning on the parking lights first, than the headlights.
Headlights do not turn on unless the switch is placed in the designated position.
Using the key fob to lock and unlock the car reveals none of the lights flash either way.
Horn sounds on initial lock instead of after the second click on the lock button.
Factory alarm still works upon unlocking the car through the window and opening the door.

As i said before i have yet to check what the sensor does at night, hopefully it won't turn on the lights still. If this is wrong or bad or dangerous please let me know but if this works, i feel as though you can run HIDs without flashing the ballasts and you'll be able to keep your girlfriend warm at the drive-in without having your headlights blinding everyone in front of you during the movie lol

Sounds like you did it right to me. Pulling the fuse should disable to lights i'm not too sure what you're talking about with the clicking and needing to pull the harness though. To disable the flash and horn it should be in the owners manual. You have a 97-03 right? And just noticed you're from buffalo too!

97-00 cars can just have the fuse pulled.

01-03 cars dont like you pulling the fuse, thats why doing he extra step is needed.

No problem, i would just keep the bottom access panel off the dash so you can plug the module back in if something goes wrong. Im keeping it all open for a week or so to make sure its all good
