I need full backshot to really tell for sure. Surprised its holding up!
I can't imagine what it'd be like trying to get that off.
I was wondering if it would get baked on or something... I've had awful experience with plasti dip. Not sure if it was my technique or what, but my wheels looked like crap. So bad I ended up peeling it off, well the inside of the wheels still has some that I gave up on peeling off. Getting that stuff out of the lug nut holes took hrs smh.

Wow, that does totally surprise me. Keep us updated on how well it holds up. My tips are super old and I can't seem to get them to polish all the way up anymore. I've got the exhaust off the car and am trying to do it, but if I'm not happy with the result I may try this. I would have thought it would melt or something. My only concern is that there are some big dips and stuff I go over and sometimes my tips scrape the ground. My guess is it would start to peel off pretty easily after that.
To be honest most of the time you can just respray the plasti dip on the peeling part if you take off the loose stuff off and it will look good again. At least thats what i did when I messed up my plasti dip on the front facia after driving through a field that had old corn stalks in it. Dont ask why I was driving in a field in the first place. lol
I plasti dipped all my fading trim pieces. I jacked one of them a little bit while putting it back in place and it totally ripped off a section of the plastic. Other than that, mine has held up pretty well.
Here is a pic of one piece sprayed and the other fading piece. Not really one who loves all things plasti-dipped, but if it can make trim look new, I'm all for it.

Its been about two weeks as stated in the original post I daily drive to work and have been on two hour long road trips looks great still and BTW I painted the inside and out with plasti dip I'll try and get some better shots later and since chrome isnt really a porous surface plastidip can't bake on
very nice.
this is deff great to know. i've used plasti-dip for many things but never exhaust tip's i for sure thought would of peeled. in for keeping us updated
