So on the next set of projectors I'm making I want to paint the shield but I'm not sure what color would look best. I think red would look good but don't know what shade and it won't match anything else on the car. Other colors I thought are black but thats boring and silver but that would match the shroud and not pop out. Any other color suggestions? If anyone is good at photoshopping and you feel like doing it that would be awesome. Here's what it is for the people that don't know. And a couple car pictures for a reference.

I've seen red before and its too much in your face for me. I prefer black or smoke etc to sort of hide the projector until the lights are on.

Ya I am leaning towards black right now unless I do a dark red color so it isn't so much in your face.

    I left mine the silver/chrome.

I've seen red, green, and yellow. They all looked terrible.

Find a nice neutral color, maybe a gunmetal.

Are you guys talking about the shroud or the shield? If you click the link that I put you'll see what I mean. Just can't tell which you guys are talking about.
