I've narrowed my replacement housing down to this style but I have a question that I can't seem to find an answer on, after much searching on the forum.

Here's an example: 1997 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Crystal Headlights Black Head Lights Pair Set Lamp | eBay

These headlights are sometimes referred to as Spec-D, Anzo, or sometimes nothing at all. Just Black Crystal. I'm wondering if they may all be one and the same, but the prices vary WIDELY. Anyone know for certain? If they are indeed from different manufacturers, which are preferred?

Bonus points for a source that ships to Canada by USPS for a reasonable price.

    Thanks!

Most aftermarket headlights that I have seen use really cheep plastic in their brackets, like they break when installing them cheap, and your headlights bounce all over the place. The headlights themselves are all pretty much the same quality as stock, just swap out the new brackets with your old ones. This again is just from my personal experience.

They are all made by one manufacturer with multiple distributers.

Thanks Guz! That's what I was hoping to hear.

And thank you slick, I know about the flimsly bracket issue and was planning to use my original ones if possible. I'm assuming that the housing on the new one can simply be removed from it's bracket and bolted on to my original one? Simple job?

same thing goes with almost every part especially aftermarket ones. like led tails and clear corners and headers, all made by one manufacture and sold to other companies to sell to you.

1997 GTP . repainted in jet black with blue pearl. rebuilt motor
with vs cam ported heads and blower.

    Thanks for the confirmation Doug!

Amazing that people are making money on an item at $100 and yet there are others out there selling the same thing for over $300!
