Yesterday my aunt had an emergency and asked me to take her cat for the week. I heard that cats don't like being in cars. That was a huge understatement. Being a spur of the moment thing, i didn't have a carrier or anything so the cat was basically running amuck while i was trying to drive. It crawled everywhere while i was driving... Dashboard, back window, under the seats, by the pedals, on the headrest meowing the entire time. It ended up putting about 3-4 cups of pee in the passenger seat while i was on the freeway and crapping on the floor in the backseat. I was on the freeway when it peed and i didnt have anything to get it up with. By the time i got to the gas station to wipe it up it had all soaked into the leather seat. When i got home i wiped it up but that was pointless since most of it was below the surface. I didn't know what else to do so i poured a bunch of 409 into the seat to let it soak in and hoped for the best. Any ideas. Yesterday the pee didn't really smell at all, luckily it was a girl cat. I can only imagine how horrible its going to smell in the summer when the car sits in the sun. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
