the tinter already agreed to re do one of them so im gonna see if i can work something out with him even though im probably on the owners bad side at this point lol
Redo just one psssh he'll be redoing every single one that I'm not happy with.
i know haha i mean im going to try and talk to him about it
Thats bull****, that looks like pure lazy prep work on an otherwise "easy" window, at our shop if we messed up or had a couple pieces of dirt under the tint we would redo it before the customer would even show up to pick the car up.
This sounds like horrible customer service too, hope you get it worked out!
BTW dirt IS avoidable, on older glass/cars the thing you cant avoid is if you have scratches on the window from wear and tear (which to a certain extent can also be buffed out before tinting to hide it) But that sounds like it would be way too much work for this shop
Yikes! I've been on the fence about tinting my GP and this is exactly what I'm afraid of. Really hope you get this straightened out, I'd be having an absolute fit if that were my car.
If nothing else - fire up the phone to the Better Biz Bureau - I've had good luck with them before. Or comment on a Facebook page if they have one, but keep it factual and professional, use the pics you posted here, etc to create some bad press. Surely they want to spend a couple labor hours to fix yours than lose 5-10 future customers swayed by your loud and increasing volume.
