    Hey I had to replace my stock hood and I got a silver instead of gold due to price/time issues now I was thinking of just putting some vinyl cf over it just so I don't need to worry about painting it or it looking to stupid any recommendations on vinyl etc thanks

    Don't want to look stupid..then paint it. I'm sorry cf vinyl isn't going to let it look any better then what it'll look painted..save your money or just paint it yourself. That being said 3m dinoc cf isn't bad

    Plasti-Dip it matte black, peel it off when you get the money to paint it gold.

    If you do put CF on it 3m Di-Noc is the only way to go.

    Sorry I took so long to reply was busy anyways! I got the hood and turns out there was a bolt broke off in the screw hole or so I was told so they just mounted it on with the 1 screw.. It works but isn't worth keeping the hood I'm either hoping to find a good condition tan one or a new primed one any ideas? NY/NJ area.. Junkyards etc are great but he problem is I can't install it on the spot by myself so I guess I need it shipped here.. (
