I am looking at buying some new headlights for my 05 Grand Prix GT I recently bought. I found some Spyder headlights that I am really liking. I would like some input on whether these headlights are worth buying and any issues i might encounter while trying to install them. I have never replaced headlights so im not sure what is involved or what to expect really. So any advice or tips would be appreciated.

I have them and i love them, the look outweighs the fact the quality sucks but nothing new hids wont fix. Also make sure yours are smoke if you get them on ebay. when i got mine it looked like they were and said smoked but came as black chrome so ima open them up and paint them black and upgrade the hids

I also have them and love them. I have their taillights as well and they are great also. People told me that the brackets were brittle, they leaked water in, etc., etc., etc. but I have had them for over a year and they still look brand new. The CCFL projection is awesome compared to my old factory headlights and bulbs. I highly recommend them.

They are ok for the price. You'd be better off putting in the time and labor for retrofits though.

I would never spend that kind of money on a hoaxy product.

    Retrofit or bust.

Like I said, mine are great. Bought them right off their website. I thought the wiring, output, etc were all fine. The lights are also very durable IMO. Maybe everyone else had earlier versions?

I'd make a retrofit for that much bro honestly! I just finished mine n it wasn't hard at all with the write up, just takes some time. N it only took me a week or a few days over n in reality I probably only spent like 20 hrs on them or so. My order from trs was 200 n headlights were 90. I had ballasts from before but I just ordered diff ones for 20 off ebay. N I ordered hi beam splitters which you really don't need but they were 10 bucks only. So in the end they ran me about 300 give or take a little. But I agree the spyder projectors do look sweet, but retros look sweet as hell too and perform even better.

Ive seen on youtube vids of these things and some look really nice on the car. I mean if they were cheaper like 100$ cheaper than the prices now then i would get them and use them until you do a retrofit. Seeing everywhere about retro VS These spyder projectors. I can see clearly the retrofit gives the most awesome light output. Oh and if you need new headlights i check here and get these and retrofit them.
