What color should i paint my blower and valve covers when i do my lim in a couple days? I am going for a black and silver theme i think. I was thinking about doing them silver with possible black lines, or black with silver lines. Idk if the high temp paint at the auto store looks good in silver or if i should just go black cus i dont really have time to polish. Also i know pretty much everyone paints them but i have heard rumers of the paint not allowing the supercharger to dispurse heat well because of it, resulting in ide imagine more kr?

    this is my car btw

Paint isn't a very good insulator. You're fine.
Irridium spark plugs last 100k mi and work just as well as copper. Copper is a waste on N/A and only lasts 15k mi. Don't use Platinum.
Use 195* tstat unless you can thoroughly explain why not; 99.9% don't need a lower temp.
Almost any oil filter, ever, is of higher quality than ACDelco. Spend $6+.

Just do silver. No need to complicate things. Plus, you won't be kicking yourself down the road for painting it some stupid and obnoxious color.

I like to see contrast and color schemes. Do you have anything else painted? Supports, dogbones, calipers, etc...?

If you do, color match them.

If you don't, do you want to color match them in the future?

Consider this, then paint it black wrinkled and enjoy lol.

Easiest way to pass inspection is to keep it toned down.

Too much flash and you better know the guy doing your inspection.

Guys..I didn't think about it when he mentioned it in chat. He's doing the tear down now and hoping to have it back together tonight. Couldn't have started much before 2pm.

In a rush = bad paint job or no paint job.

Maybe he had the blower off already and was like while its off I can paint it, then pull everything else apart, fix it and blower goes back on after it dries?

Car is black right? I say red or orange. Something bright that brings them out looks pretty cool. If you do red then you can match the calipers and dogbones etc.
