I might be picking up a new decklid tomorrow how do you go about removing the old lid and installing the new one? Also is changing the actual lock from the old deck lid to the new deck lid difficult ?

Its 4 bolts and 2 clips for the trunk struts. You'll need 2 people.

It will take a few minutes to line everything up good, you dont wanna just bolt it together and slam it shut and **** up the decklid and body around the trunk. Just make small adjustments as needed to make both sides line up the same.

The lock is held in place by a rivet, drill it out, remove the holder and slide it out. Remove the trunk popper, transfer it over and re-install. You need a rivet gun when you put it back together.

Should be the same, just the paint is 4 years older and might be faded compared to yours.
