We used the headlight kit from 3M on the '01 GP GT today. I checked out the forum for reviews and tips and got a lot of good information - thanks to all.

Knowing that the kit was not necessary and the same results could be achieved with several stages of course to fine sandpaper, I decided to make things a little easier by using a drill and the packaged and prepared materials.

Although the kit said you can do it on the car, we removed the headlights so we could better get to edges and corners. We also found that a corded electric drill did a better job than the cordless due to higher and more consistent speed. Oh, and the fact that my cordless drill's batteries are beyond their life span and need replaced.

Wow - it was quick and easy. We spent less than an hour on it. I'm a believer.

They came out good. Make sure you use some type of sealent or clear coat to not have them turn yellow again down the road.
