I know this may sound stupid to some and if it does, please keep your comment to yourself.

Id like to take off my front plate and mod the plate cover to look as if it isnt there. As in that the bumber is smooth and there is no place for a license plate. I hate the look of a front plate. I live in a very low crime area. So cops are very relaxed about tint and vehicle mods (as long as they don't danger the safety of you or others on the road).

I don't want to modify the bumper in the event that I sell the car or if the cops change their mind.

Yea, It seems like a lot of work. I might roll with what you just mentioned. I kinda forgot about the stylish lines that run directly beside the front plate.

Smooth the rest of the lines on the bumper. Would flow with the rest of the car nicely

There used to be replacement bumper on eBay that didn't have a plate area. It still said Pontiac like if there was a plate filler in there but was smooth just like you described.

Oh, Man, I dont think I like the smooth bumber with the pontiac lettering. Ill probably just get a plate cover and fill in the lettering.
