    Are HID kits all the same for any car as long as you get the correct bulb size?

    OK cuz I have the ballasts from my GP that are brand new that I wanted to use on the new car. It takes 9006 bulbs

    just make sure the wattage is the same for ballast/bulb.

    because they are. they'll all blind anyone in front of your car while giving you a minor increase in sight over stock lights (granted they are polished up and the correct bulbs).

    plug and play hid kits are for children.

    That makes since. There's some of us that don't have the way to retro fit. I'm in the process of trying to figure out how to take the glass apart so I can retro fit. I don't have an oven to bake

    i hadnt even thought of that...and id have several other uses that a heat gun would of come handy with. well i guess its time for me to take all the retro fit threads ive read and start putting it to use on the extra set of headlights i have. Im also gonna pick up another set tomorrow at pick and pull to also learn on
