even for a 23 year old college student that has no place to work on them than in an apt. and no spraying tools? i understand that they may not come out looking like i paid $250 for 'em, but they should look pretty decent, i've seen some people have good results with them. i'm going to take my time, but yeah, i wish i could send them out to you, but it would probably cost me way more than i want to spend.

Have someone that does them do them for you..

I dont understand this & maybe you can help me..

Why spend $11 on a can of VHT..OK I will do this out for you.

    VHT ($11 EA ) 2 cans $22
    Good spraycan clear ( $12ea) $24
sandpaper to sand the lights ( $3) $3
    Wax remover ( $7 ) $7
    tack rug ( $2 ) $2
    wet sandingpaper ( $4 ) 2000 grit $4
    Buffing compound ( $10 ) $10
    masking tape ($2 ) $2
    _____
    $74

Now if you mess up its more but you can get them done for $70 by someone

Plus you will need to pay them to remove VHT ( $45-$50 )if you mess them up. VHT clogs sandpaper so its not the time to remove it its the cost for the sandpaper.

Im not saying this because I do it its because I see it all the time.

Plus the shine from spraycan Sucks too.. It looks dull..

Heres VHT & spraycan cleared ( they mess up too )

    then redone

    What ones would you want??

not sure what you charge or if i care enough to get a nice set. my car has paint chipping off it all over the place, so a titties set of tails might look out of place.

VHT looks just the same if you do it right, its all about prep and knowing what to do.. simple, if you dont know what to do, send them out.. if you know what youre doing and can make them look good, do it yerself..

to many people talk bad about VHT because of what people have done with it.. all the people who dont know what theyre doing and mess it up make VHT look bad, but just like the 2 guys who did theres with VHT and it came out perfect, you can see that its not a bad product.

flip, if i mess these up, i promise i will come to you, i just enjoy doing my own mods to my car. i don't really like people to touch my baby. since i've already bought the vht, and clear, etc. i might as well give it a shot. i've dedicated 3 days to get this done, so there is no rush. i have read a lot of posts on this, and i think i can do a pretty decent job. i will post pictures when i'm finished...

Trust me, if there's anyone you can trust with your car it's Flip. I'm very selective about who I let do work on my car and for the most part it's been family or family friends but I can guarantee you that you wont be let down by Flip.

I doubt you'll be able to get anywhere near the quality that he can do it, and it won't cost you too much more by sending them to him.

Is it just me or do they not look tinted whatsoever? The outside I can see but I'd have them fully tinted if I were you, consider doing your reverse light? Check mine out.
