I've searched around no luck on a for sure answer

Does anyone know 100% the difference between the two?

I'm looking to replace my broken trim and if the 2nd Design is a darker color for example compared to 1st (which is the only thing I could assume is the difference) that's what I want.... Ideas? Knowledge?

you would want second design...if i recall correctly 1st design is without HUD but just the trim panel that goes there...or when all else fails call your GM dealer with your VIN...but i ordered mine from here

I thought my vin showed design 1 ill have to check again. . I was just curious what made them different..

What do you mean... The trim is in place but they have a panel covering where the hole is? Or its just the normal flat cover? Because I thought they were both HUD trims
