I am looking for aftermarket rims but its hard finding decent ones with 5x115 bolt pattern and I have read some forums and guys saying they have used 5x114.3. I'm a little skeptical about using this bolt pattern but I'm sure it will work just don't know how well? I have a gp gt with 17" rims and would like to go up to 18s would 18x8 work for front and rear cus I also know the gxps have different size front and rear rims being 18x8 and 18x7?

I have heard that they have different size wheels as well. I've got Mustang Bullitts on now (5x114.3) that are 17x8 I believe (not 100% sure on that) and have no rubbing when I turn the wheels. If overall they are the same diameter as stock wheels and tires I would think they would fit.

Edit: Don't have Bullitts on anymore. Put T-Stars on for winter.

    Yes, 114.3 works just fine.

18x8 is also a very safe size to run with a set of 245/45/18 tires

Yes 115x5 or 114.3x5 will work as well. You just have to make sure that the central hub bore will work on the wheels. Most aftermarket wheels have a larger central bore but some do not and other car companies such as Eclipses, some Mazdas, etc... but they use a smaller hub bore so the center won't fit and the wheel will not bolt up.

would a 235/45r18 would too or do you think it would be too narrow?

It will work but it will be a little shorter than factory and throw off the speedo.

    stock height is 26.6" - 225/60/16

    go to Tire size calculator

plug in the stock 225/60/16 and then whatever size you want to get and it will show the difference and speedo %.
245/45/18 is about as close as you can get with 18s.
