My question is can you use a 10ohm 50watt load resistor for the turns? Or is the 6ohm required?

    get an LED flasher relay.

hacking apart harnesses and adding resistors is dumb.

After doing some research there isn't flasher relay, it's controlled by the bcm. No one anywhere has the load resister needed for the turns I got, so after calling around my tint shop that does hids had load resistors they use for hid kits, they are 4.7 ohm and 50 watts. The ones sold are 6 ohm, but after installing the hid set the turns worked flawlessly. If anyone needs a pair call your local accessory shop and see if they have any. They come with the ballast plug wired in, all you have to do is cut the plug off and use the wires!

In pretty sure there were some switchbacks made that didn't require the flasher to be changed.

But ya you get an ep29 flasher I think and cut off the middle tab. It might be the 28 I don't remember.

i've been reading about this too a bunch. i came across the same problem. idk if the signals are controlled by the bcm or by a flash module. if it is a flash module, can it be changed rather than putting in a resister parallel to the bulb or if its the bcm, it should be able to be reprogrammed to not have hyperflashing when you change your turn signal to a switchback. gonna be making a few stops at the gm store and asking some questions after Christmas.

After looking around I just went with the resistors, you can use a flasher module I THINK but I couldn't find which one. So I used the resistors

04 and newer GP's DO NOT have a flasher relay. The flash is controlled by The BCM, and it cannot be reprogrammed.

An HA! So I was right lol. You can tell it is because when I put the bulbs and resistors in it flashed fast and once it sensed the resistance it slowed the flasher down
