Water in headlight...

I have some water in my passenger headlight, and wanted to know if there is any way possible to get it out, and seal up the headlight?

I have the same problem with my tail light so i am hoping someone knows how to help out also.

i used a hair dryer! just take the light off the car. and blow the air through the bulb hole! took awhile. but it worked w/o melting the poo out of the lense or backing.


as far as resealing. i used silicone!

If you take the light bulb out of the socket and have some type of heat (as stated by boosting98) a blow dryer or something along those lines will work, but it's nearly impossible to get it completely out, or if you can find something bendable possibly attach some type of cloth to the end of it and use the bulb socket to get into the headlight.

Other than that I'm not sure if there's any advice I can give other than to just replace the light (nice halos usually do the trick ).

Disposable shop towel or paper towel wrapped around a coat hanger using duct tape to hold it on...check all your gaskets to see where the water is coming in at to stop the leak...use some silicone around the gasket for better seal...

yea... i wish i could afford some new halos but i cant... im still saving for more performance stuff before i really get into the appearance stuff

I have the same problem with my tail light so i am hoping someone knows how to help out also.

I had a tremendious amount of water between the plastic cover that is synomious with the "fog" and the actual red lense.
I just broke the clear plastic off and left the black plastic louvers in place.
You could try drilling a "small" hole in the bottom of the lense above the reflectors.
