If you want to change the color of the backlights and still have the same looking gauge face, All you have to do is pull the cluster and change out the bulbs in the back. i used blue L.E.D's for mine they were only like $1.50 a piece

The kit was a pointless purchase cause its just led bulbs you can get on eBay for cheap. But it will still look good. Just wish I got the bulbs cheaper but its whatever lol.

Here's the gauges with red LEDs (T10 5 led bulbs). I still have to do the little bulbs which are- (T5 1 led bulbs). Be aware that the blinker bulbs and the high beam headlight bulb in the gauge cluster don't do well when changing colors. I had to use a regular bulb (ordered white led bulbs for these) because they wouldn't work with the red but it still looks cool :-D

Purchased this product for my 03 in blue. Discovered the blue will not shine thru until you take the cluster apart & remove the red film & glue with acetone. Blue will NOT shine thru red.
