I just installed 5k VVME hids into my headlights. I have the relay they are low beam only. To enable them i have to turn on my high beams then turn them off and than they come on. The high beam symbol is lightly illuminated when high beams are off aswell. Any insight as to why i need to use the high beams to toggle the relay?

i know when you have single beam hids that the high beam light will always be on no matter what. and do you use your foglights when you have your headlights on?

Okay but why do i have to enable high beams for my low beams to turn on than turn them off for my fogs to come on.

I have the same exact hid kit from vvme and my high beam light isn't illuminated. You have to switch the pins in the harness. Doing so will make the high beam light to away.

It's a Low beam only kit. So i trigger the high beam switch, the lights come on and then disable so my fogs will come on and they stay on.

blue magic is right i had to switch 2 pins around in the connector in the relay harness to get mine to work. you can see what pins to move around in the ultimate hid thread.
